Will This Mean Gambling Comes Back to Second Life®?

Jacqui Cheng writes on ars technica: "House passes bill to relax Internet gambling restrictions".

Can any legal eagles out there tell me if that means we can have gambling again in Second Life®?

As much as I think that gambling can be bad for the individual who's lost control, it certainly gets the economy flowing. Casino owners buy land, hire bored builders and scripters and the general public have another avenue of light entertainment - just in time for winter online gaming. Cool

Winter is the new summer!

Second Life® Influencing Real Life Shops?

Now this is more like it!

Today I was walking down the high street with a couple of colleagues in a little town somewhere in the United Kingdom, when we came across this fashion shop branded "White Stuff" and in the window were mannequins that looked like furries escaped from Second Life®.

Naturally it was a photographic moment:

Please note that this is not a photoshoppped picture. You can go there right now and see them in the window.

One of them even looks like it's AFK!
